| What is a Global Child?A Global Child is simply a child of the world. As the world becomes more and more connected through the internet, it is important that we develop Global Children. Through Camp Magic, we advocate that cultures do not lose their identity. Rather, we celebrate the differences, and learn from them. |
A dream come true... After 11 years of steady and exciting growth in Singapore, we are starting to spread the program to different parts of the world.
We wish to connect children to the global community through stories, which in turn connects them to drama, dance, the visual arts, song, and most importantly, themselves.
Each week Camp Magic studies one story in great depth through professional performances, drama games, dance/movement, incredible pieces of story art, and craft.
By "Going Global", we strive to meet the ever-growing needs of today's youth. Giving children the opportunity to engage in a Camp Magic program gives them an opportunity to tap into their vast creative potential. This in turn encourages astounding flexibility in the thinking process that frees up the imagination. Once that is freed, a child's internal world becomes larger. Through a larger scope or view within, the child may then broaden themselves intellectually on many different levels. The creative mind is capable of compromise, and an endless amount of tools to travel through all areas of the school curriculum.
